This is an idea that we have had for a while and the past few weeks we have worked to make it happen. Cleveland Hops is our attempt to share some of the beer news and events around Cleveland that we hear about. We hope that it will grow and we can get more people involved on the blog. But this is more than a blog. We are also building a directory of bars, restaurants, venues, stores, home brewing supply stores and more that will include yelp reviews and “add to my foursquare” places. We have also built in beers by location by tapping into the Beerby API to supply information as to what beers are available at the given venues. Beerby is an app that is available for both Android and iPhone that allows users to track beers by location by attributing them to foursquare locations. We will also be featuring people of the craft beer scene in the city through blog Q&As.
We will be accepting new listings in the directory, simply create an account and select a Regular Listing (free) or a Premium Listing for a nominal cost. Compare the two accounts and you can see the benefits of the paid account.
